I’m Angela, an Energy and Emotions Kinesiologist, Reiki practitioner, Tarot reader, and Space holder with a passion for Health & Wellness.
Over the past while, I’ve experienced some genuinely powerful benefits from fasting, and I feel called to share this experience in a way that supports both personal growth and our wider community.
This Fast for Foodbank is about giving and receiving.
Giving support to those doing it tough, and receiving the clarity, discipline, and deeper connection that can come from Fasting. Both matter. Both are medicine.
Why Foodbank?
Foodbank helps provide essential food relief to people who need it most, including individuals and families experiencing hardship. Your donation helps put food on tables and eases pressure for households who are under real strain right now. FYI, your donation goes straight to Foodbank. ;-)
The Details AEST- Melbourne Time:
We’ll be fasting for Foodbank from Thursday 15th January to Sunday 18th of January 2026, depending on the fast length you choose.
Choose your fast:
18 hours
24 hours
36 hours
48 hours
72 hours ✨ (best suited to those who already fast regularly and feel confident with longer fasts)
Start & finish times
We can begin in waves. It’s not mandatory, but it can really help us feel like we’re moving through it together.
We kick off at 7:00pm Thursday 15th of January
We finish at 7:00pm Sunday 18th of January.
Private Facebook Group
Once you have donated and filled out the form to join, take a screen shot to load up in the form above as proof of donation. I’ll then add you to our private Facebook group, where you’ll find supportive guidance, simple prep tips, and encouragement so you feel prepared and confident.
Want to warm up beforehand?
This isn’t starting for a few weeks yet, so if you’d like, you can begin practicing gently now. You might try:
14 hours, or
18 hours,
and build from there in a way that feels safe and doable for your body. Say you finish eating at 7pm and have your first meal the next day later, and later and so on.
